About 32bitmicro LLC
32bitmicro LLC is an embedded systems consultancy built on the belief that production-grade engineering and upstream-first development produce better outcomes for everyone. We work with hardware and software teams to turn new silicon into shippable, maintainable products — handling the full stack from bootloader to application framework so our clients can ship with confidence.
What We Do
- Embedded Linux platforms
- Linux kernel customization
- Yocto-based distributions
- Zephyr RTOS firmware
- Secure boot and platform security
Why 32bitmicro
- Upstream-first approach — contributions go upstream where possible, reducing long-term maintenance burden
- Production-grade focus — every engagement targets real hardware and real release criteria, not just proof-of-concept
- Full ownership — we cover architecture, implementation, bring-up, hardening, and handoff documentation under one engagement
- Deep kernel and BSP experience — from device tree authoring to panic triage, we work at every layer of the embedded stack
Team
Pawel Wodnicki — Founder & President

Pawel Wodnicki is an embedded systems engineer with over 30 years of experience in software and systems engineering. He founded 32bitmicro LLC to bring production-grade embedded Linux and firmware engineering directly to hardware teams — without the overhead of a large consultancy.
Pawel studied at AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, one of central Europe's leading technical institutions. He is a contributor to the LLVM project and created LLVMEmbeddedToolchain — an open-source LLVM-based C/C++ toolchain for ARM, RISC-V, and PowerPC embedded targets.
